When presenting at an in-person meeting, body language and eye contact are key. But when presenting virtually – as you are in a webinar, your voice is your main connection with your participants. Therefore, it’s important to sound strong and energetic, while at the same time maintaining a ‘friendly’ tone.
To help make this happen, stand while presenting. Obviously a head-set makes this easier – but when you’re standing it is easier to project your voice. To keep your energy up, keep your hands free. The more your body gets involved, the more energized your voice will be.
