Tips to Keeping Your Webinar Audience Engaged

The general rule of thumb is that virtual audiences need some form of interaction every minute to minute and a half.  While this may sound like a lot, it is not difficult to accomplish. The point is to have something visually change on the screen every 60-90 seconds.

  • Spread your information over more slides, and use more animation.
  • Have bullet points coming in one at a time.
  • Use annotation tools such as an arrow or highlighter.
  • You can also ask for feedback using emoticons or request a response to a question via chat.
